Hiking at Tanaja Falls or trying to anyways

January first i had the day off so i thought it would be fun to go hiking. so Tyler and went to Tanaja falls. Witch is off of Clinton Keith Road past Lacresta. So not far away. but the gate was closed to get to the second parking lot were our trail started. So on our directions it said it was a few miles untill the second parking so we thought maybe we could try and walk to the next parking lot and then get on the trail. So we went down the road about 3 miles and stoped at the picture above. Because in the picture it gets really twisty and starts going down hill. you cant see it all in this picture but it didn't seem like to much fun and we already walked 3 miles. So we walked back. We had a nice little 6 mile walk down a road in the middle of no wear. It was good exercise tho. But we are planing to go back and see the falls. once you get the second parking lot its only a 2 mile or so hike to falls. now we now it was actually like 5 miles to the next parking lot. So until Next time when the gate is open and we can start at trail head.
