Christmas 2011

Christmas was great this year! I just love to decorate with all the fun things I've made and things friends have made for me!

I love wrapping and giving presents its always so exciting to see someone open and enjoy your gift :)

More decorations! We had to put our tree up on the kitchen table so Seth would not get a hold of it.

This was Seth's first Christmas and we just got him a few things like a ball and light up toy and he was happy also grandma got him some fun toys he has enjoyed!

Christmas day out at my parents we enjoyed being with family Jack got this dinosaur walking toy and all the baby's were wanting to play with it.

Tyler and McKenzie both had matching rug burns. Kenzies happened on a tramp and Tyler's was from flag football. The morning of Christmas eve he was playing on a turf field and it looks a lot worse then the picture shows.

Well I'm sad Christmas is over but i will have fun with my gifts one of witch is an electric blanket my hubby got for me that I am enjoying so much because I'm always cold. Also new years is coming up and my little baby boy will turn one I cant believe it!

But.... not so Happy Halloween :( this little guy was sick his poor little nose is all soar. We just stayed home and went to bed early.

Super Saturday

I Went to my mother in-laws ward and did these craft i did one more but its not ready yet any ways i had fun making these crafts.

Goals

Its hard to stay motivated and keep goals. So far I'm doing OK I have been reading scriptures with my hubby every night we have missed a few times but its pretty consistent. Also working out is so hard to do consistently so i decided at least 30 min. a day doesn't matter what the work out is as long as i can stay consistent And for the crafty side of me i decided to scrapbook one page a night starting this week and that is once Seth has gone to sleep of course. I think each of these areas help keep me sane especially since Seth is teething and i get to deal with his grumpy side a lot. So wish me luck i hope i can keep these goal up!

So I have been wanting to make this for a long time and my sister in-law Angela cut out the vinyl for me on her cricut machine! I just love this quote!

Christmas Gift Tags!!!! So my Ward is having a Supper Saturday and this is going to be one of the free crafts we are going to make. And i might even put out some stuff to make cards and what not with the left over supplies. I cant wait i love crafting!! I even signed up to do crafts in my mother in-laws ward!

Seth News

I love this kid so much he is such a joy in my life!


Seth does chores now, he just needs a little help standing that's all and walking... and sweeping... ok he cant really help yet but he though it was funny as if saying "yeah right mom I don't clean I make the messes."


This kid is getting more and more mobile and all he wants to do in the tub is flip over in the tub and then flip over again on his back and then he just keeps doing it silly kid he loves bath time.


He is pretty cool now he never takes his shades off he is to cool for school.

Cousins

we got together and took these pictuers for my mom so she could have a picture of all her grandkids and she loved it!

Christmas in July

At the latest girls craft night we did Christmas crafts and i love how they turned out!!


This is a fun recipe holder there is a wood star magnet that i still need to put on there but this is so great to hold up recipes when your cooking.


I wanted to put vynl on something and i saw this canister at the craft store and thought it would be perfect for keeping all my muffin cups together.

I love how my trees turned out i really wanted red i think it will look good with all my Christmas decorations!

Cupcake Wrappers

I have really been enjoying making these on my Cricut mechine!!!

Last day..

... of being the beehive teacher :( so sad i did not want to leave. I have really enjoyed being with the young women these last three years and will miss them. I will miss all the activities and fun things we got to do and i will especially miss the girls sweet spirits. Oh and i will miss there hyper fun loving attitudes as well i just love those beehives. So today i gave them some teats and a little good by card tell them how much i love them and will miss them.

I did also get a new calling but you will have to tune in next week to find out what that is!!

Torrey Pines

We went to Torrey Pines State Park this last week. I love it because it is at the beach which i love! We didn't go on my birthday like i wanted but we went that weekend and it was really fun!

Sine we had Seth with us we didn't hike up the mountain and then down to the beach we parked at the top and just hiked down to the beach and then back up to the car. I just really love the view and i really love a hike wear there is something really fun waiting for you at the end like the beach, i wish i had worn my bathing suit the water was great!

So this is me i decided to run over to this rock in the water and i got all wet but it was fun!

Seth really liked the water he wanted to splash around in it but we did bring his bathing suit. He did pretty good on the hike he got a little fussy here and there and then he fell a sleep right as we got back.

It was really nice to get out and do something different a hike by the beach was just what i needed.

Food?

We started giving Seth food about half way threw June but iv been such a slacker lately an have not posted anything. This is his second time time eating rice cereal.


This is his first time eating sweet potato's which he loves.

So the first week of feeding Seth he was getting used to the spoon and swallowing and about half the cereal would come back out but after that he is now a great eater!



This is his first time eating rice cereal. Then we went out and got some plastic bibs that are nice because we can just clean them off easily.

So this kid is now 22lbs quite a chunk :) and is just about 7 months and showing signs of crawling yikes he can take his time that's fine with me :/ He also loves to grab everything especially your face which can surprise you, he loves to pull my hair and chew on and kid of strap he can find. Oh he has two bottom teeth and they are sharp!! Seth is discovering different noises he can make which is pretty entertaining. His favorite toy right now is his exersaucer he loves to stand.

Well that was just a little up date on Seth and how the little bugger is doing :)

Happy first fathers day!

Tyler is a wonderful dad i love watching him play with Seth and i look forward to the many things dad will get to teach him. I just love seeing my boys together :)
